Sugar glider scurries out from her hollow.
Sugar gliders are such animate creatures and I wanted to present their flying capabilities to young children - so I felt compelled to put more than one sugar glider into this illustration! It’s one of the artworks I created for children’s book “Snuggled Away” written by Cate Storey.
Bringing this composition together with all it’s components was fun and I added the full moon and starry sky for a touch of romance - as so many children love a night sky!
