"The Spaces Between Branches" Fine Art Print from Snuggled Away
Possum and babies one, two and three.
As the title suggests, I did focus a lot on the negative spaces of the silvery tree branches to create an interesting composition. Of course the ringtail possum nesting in its drey was paramount and indeed there was a real struggle in getting it’s cute little nose and profile characteristically possum-like!
This illustration is one of the artworks I created for children’s book “Snuggled Away” written by Cate Storey. As Australian’s we have such fascination with the animals that we see in our suburban jungle. The ring-tail possum is one of those icons.
