"Tree Frog Chorus Ripples with the Moon" Print from Snuggled Away
Tree frogs and marsh frogs are singing in chorus.
Frogs have such incredible colouring and markings. It was quite exciting choosing which species and which exact variation to paint for this illustration. It’s one of the artworks I created for children’s book “Snuggled Away” written by Cate Storey.
Getting the size of each frog accurate in comparison to the other was particularly challenging, but important for the scientific standing of the book. Cate Storey has a particular fascination with frogs, so I really wanted to make it special. Hopefully this artwork inspires more people about how unique frogs are!
