Sugar gliders are such adorable animals, no wonder they are so well known in our Australian psyche. This original painting is one of the artworks I created for children’s book “Snuggled Away” written by Cate Storey. This is the mother glider (the text and images were opposite in this spread).
I had so much fun with the brilliant wattle against the dark blue, night sky. And painting the sugar glider with it’s contrasting markings was pure joy. I hope you can feel the energy of the glider as it prepares to descend into the night!
