"Moonlight Brings the Magic" Fine Art Print from Snuggled Away
While all of the people are snuggled asleep.
The concept for this artwork was for several animals to be on their nightly jaunt in a suburban city. I chose Red Hill, Brisbane, Australia as it’s quite iconic to many of us Brisbanites. It was inspired by my mother Robyn Bauer’s painted suburban scenes (she is a full-time artist too).
I wanted to include a sugar glider and also a carpet python, but keep the two animals as far apart as possible, hence the snake’s reaching out in opposite direction to the glider. Lots of fun creating this this illustration for children’s book “Snuggled Away” written by Cate Storey.
